Single and double laminar sealing rings FK 5
The rings are used to seal roller and plain bearing units on the roller tables of continuous casting plants, industrial steam turbines, mobile and stationary engines. They can be used practically anywhere where extreme operating conditions place higher demands on the sealing system.
This includes, for example, corrosion and media resistance of the ring material, high operating temperatures and a high degree of contamination.

1) Varies depending on the type of thermal treatment! Hardness values depending on ring cross-section, measured in Rockwell HRA or HRC.
2) The surface colour can vary depending on the type of thermal treatment from silber/bluish to brownish/black.

Run and installation tests:
Run and installation tests under operating conditions must be performed in each case before standard production of our laminar rings can begin to determine whether the desired sealing effects can be achieved.

Order information:
For enquiries and/or orders, the ring diameter specification must correspond to the bore or shaft diameter “D1” exactly. The rings can be ordered individually or in sets.
