FK 8 Plastic laminar ring carrier seal
The ring carrier seals made of polyamide 6 (PA6) are also available with mineral/glass fibre reinforcement and are used to seal roller bearings against grease leakage and dirt and splash water ingress in vehicle axles, rollers and wheels of all kinds (e.g. transport technology) and in various movement sequences in construction and agricultural machinery.
Ring carrier seals according to designs 01 and 02 are equipped with resilient, flexible sealing lips. This is advantageous if a lot of splash water is expected in the sealing area.
Plastic laminar ring carrier seals are also suitable as protective seals in front of the shaft seal.

Fitting:
In general, ring carriers can be pushed onto the axle stub by hand or with a light tap from a mallet (1). If an assembly chamfer is not required or is only small, the ring carrier should first be inserted into the hub (2) by hand.
Run and installation tests:
Run and installation tests under operating conditions must be performed in each case before standard production of our ring carrier seals can begin to determine whether the desired sealing effects can be achieved.
